Our Alpen Schatz™ Swiss belts, as our collars, represent a family craft dating back over 200 years. They embody the festive nature of the breathtaking Appenzeller region of Switzerland, steeped in century old traditions.

Each belt is handcrafted by the descendants of one of the original founding fathers of this alpine tradition. As his ancestors did before him, our craftsman uses only the finest of Swiss organic cow leather and each piece is adorned with symbolic Alpine figures, hand carved, cut, and tooled from brass or alpine silver pieces. He also specializes in decorative armbands, cowbells and dog collars, which also play a big role in Swiss traditions.

The belts come in two widths and two metal options with either Swiss Cows and Herdsmen or with the Edelweiss flower adoring the rich leather.

HOW TO MEASURE: Measure the comfortable circumference around where you would like your belt to sit, whether on your hips or around your waist. Use this measurement in inches when you make your selection upon check-out. Note the European centimeter(cm) sizes listed are the total length of the belt which is how the European's measure a collar or belt size.

IMPORTANT! The Narrow belt has a fancy buckle, whilst the Wide belt has a classic buckle.
