These earrings are replicas of a pair owned and worn by First Lady Dolley Madison during the early 19th Century. The originals are held in the DAR Museum and I've been lucky enough to examine them in person and thesecapture their look beautifully!
These are made with Gold-plated Sterling Silver with a glass crystal stone. The light blue is a beautiful contrast to the rich Gold plating and highlights the interesting filigree designs on the setting.
These measure just a touch over 1" long in length. The stone itself is about 1/2" long.
